2.2kW Photovoltaic System

The SolarSave H-PV2KWSYS is a monocrystaline solar panel system capable of generating up to 2.5kW of electricity. The system comprises 8 off 250w monocrystalline silicon panels each measuring 2 x 1 metres, a 1,500w inverter to convert to 35 volts DC electricity into mains 240 volt AC electricity and a 180-260v 50hz 2.5kW pure sine wave grid tied inverter. Also included are lightening protectors and a roof mounting kit.

To sell the electricity back to an energy provider, you will need to purchase from them an accredited meter, costing typically £250.

The system is sold as a kit for you to install or have installed by others. SolarSave can install the system after visiting your site and providing a quotation. A typical installation cost is around £1,500.

Payback, taking advantage of the Government schemes around 12 years with a life expectancy of 20 to 25 years.

Total cost of the parts for a 2.2kW system is £9,784.
